Scope and content
The former 14th Earl of Home, Sir Alec Douglas Home, succeeded Harold Macmillan as prime minister in October 1963. Abu shows Home (note the magnifying glass), Reginald Maulding (chancellor) and a British businessman giving praise for the upturn. Meanwhile, unseen by them, the economy (a plant) has begun to wither.
