Tom Baistow's notebooks from 1956 to 1981 are written in standard English and in shorthand. They feature interviews and other notes prepared for his journalistic work in UK and around the world.
Most of the notebooks contain some reference to the date of the notes but five have no obvious date. The 44 dated notebooks are in chronological sequence and the undated notebooks have been placed at the end of the sequence.
