Scope and content
Aside from six general articles, the work in this series can be grouped into two segments.
The largest of these segments is a series of undated media commentary articles, which discuss changes afoot on Fleet Street and how current affairs stories have been portrayed by different newspapers. This section is labelled Press.
There is also a selection of media profiles on five of the UK's biggest newspapers; The Guardian, The Daily Express, The Daily Telegraph, The Times and The Sun. Not all are dated but they span at least 21 May to 4 June 1970. This section is labelled Profile.
