Scope and content

File of cuttings / loose cuttings on specific subjects maintained by AR in his role as editor of the Guardian. Areas include the scandal surrounding Richard Gott after allegations of working for the KGB surfaced in the Spectator, the libel trail against Jonathan Aitken, as well as assorted cuttings that were of interest to AR but may not have involved the Guardian directly. As well as these there are other series of cuttings relating to the Guardian generally during AR's time as editor and covering matters such as the relaunch of the paper, awards, or articles relating to Guardian journalists and other staff.
