Includes planning documents such as tables of financial information from coverage of the 1986 budget, copies of graphs and tables of financial information for inclusion in the edition, lists of contributors of articles and graphics, schedules for completion of pages, suggested page breakdowns, a proposed layout, family profiles and introductory paragraphs of typical families for information on the budget's effects.

Also includes copies of the Guardian 4 February 1987 with budget predictions and 18 March 1987 with the budget information included.
