File containing 27 photographs of the Guardian Press Centre located on the Isle of Dogs, London.

The file comprises: four black and white images of the plate room, roll stands and control and computer systems in use (1987); one back and white image of David Dalton, works director, Harry Roche and Ian Ashcroft in front of the printing works [1980s]; 16 colour images of dormant printing machinery in situ including the Von Roll Reel System [1997] and five colour images of the boarded up exterior of the building (1997).

Also includes one close up black and white image of a printing plate from the Guardian Picture Library, stamped The Guardian, 29 Oct 1987.

Note that some of the photographs contain annotations relating to the machinery depicted on the reverse.
