Contains letters and newspaper cuttings relating to her early life in England, education and beginning of her career as a journalist.
Includes letters and telegrams dated between 1946 and 1961 with friends including the sculptor Ophelia Gordon Bell which discuss Pick's career, time at LSE, life at The Croft in Grasmere and the Moral Rearmament movement. There is also one letter from Ophelia to Pick's mother Johanna. There are a number of letters from Pick's friends or acquaintances identified only by their first names. These include letters from Joan (1946), Bridget (1946), Giselle (undated), and Margot (undated) which largely reference daily life such as holidays, gifts, visits to The Croft and household items.
The file also includes six newspaper cuttings (some Guardian) of her own writings. Subjects include her experience of being an Austrian child refugee in the UK and the work of artist William Heaton Cooper.
