This report takes a different format from a usual working report and the first page explains that this is a special issue of the working report to provide an up-to-date account of financial difficulites experienced by the company in a climate of falling advertising. The report is written by the Chairman of the Directors, Laurence Prestwich Scott and it includes sections on the company's finance, prospects, efficiency and pupose, present proposals, and three quotations from the statement made by Laurence Prestwich Scott at the meeting with the Printed & Kindred Trades Federation (P& KTF) on 6 December 1966.
