Daily account of his work as a Guardian foreign reporter during the Iraq War, covering 21 February 2003 to 12 April 2003.
Meek was stationed in Kuwait and Iraq during the lead up to and following the invasion of Iraq. Although not officially embedded with the military, in his account he discusses his time spent with the US Marines.
Written for and submitted to the London Review of Books, though it was not used.
