Scope and content
In a tropical setting, serveral barefoot people in grass skirts carry an ailing pound sign on a ceremonial stretcher, walking painfully over a bed of burning houses. [Callaghan] leads the way, also in a grass skirt but walking safely on stilts and holding a skull-adorned sceptre. A grass skirted [Denis Healey] overlooks the scene from a cliff top, reassuring a tourist in safari gear representing the International Monetary Fund: 'DON'T WORRY! THEIR DEVOTION TO THE GREAT GOD E-KON-O-MEE IS SO TOTAL THEY DONT FEEL A THING!'
