Scope and content

Margaret Thatcher has just zig-zagged her way down a ski slope. On her way down she has skied past a variety of obstacles. The obstacles are as follows. At the top there is a man in a fancy gown and crown, holding up a sign saying 'LORDS REVOLT'. Then a man with glasses and a dog, holding up his hand and a sign saying 'BACK BENCH'. Then there is Edwina Currie, face down on the ground, reaching toward a spilling box of eggs. Then a large tap, attached with a 'FORE SALE' sign. An electricity pylon attached with a for sale sign. A suspicious looking man in a hat and trench coat, attached with a sign reading 'MY LIPS ARE SEALED'; A man in Union Jack shorts and a tea-shirt and scarf. He holding up a glass and a piece of paper, with a face and the letters 'I.D.' on it. Finally there is Nigel Lawson, collapsed on the ground, his face scrunched up with frustration. At the foot of the slop, Margaret Thatcher has skidded to a halt by a booth, labelled 'QUEEN'S SPEECH SKI-LIFT'. The Queen is standing behind the booth, yawning.
