Work: appointed editor of, 'African Weekley, 1958; appointed editor of, 'The Bantu Mirror', 1959; appointed editor of, 'African Parade' and 'African Daily News', 1960-1961; appointed first representative in Northern Rhodesia of the Zimbabwe African People's Union (ZAPU) and secretary of People's caretaker Council, Southern Rhodesia, 1963; retained in restriction camps and prisons for his political activities, 1965-1974; editor of, 'Zimbabwe Star' the ZAPU journal, 1975; appointed editor of the 'Sunday Mail', 1982-1985.
