Animated colour advert with sound featuring an animated paperboy.
The advert is similar to those at OBS/9/1/1/2. It shows a watercolour animation of a teenage paperboy delivering newspapers to a series of houses, running a stick along their railings as goes. He uses sophisticated vocabulary to say that there is 'something different' about the customer who takes the Observer, ending with "I just can't figure it out".
The tagline is delivered by a male voiceover and titles over an animated shot of the Observer on a blue background.
