Illustration originally accompanying an article titled 'An inconvenient truth: beware the politician in fleece clothing', by Jonathan Freedland, published in the Guardian, 13 September 2006. The article discusses Al Gore's film An Inconvenient Truth, and how it should alert Britons to the danger of voting on personality. The illustration shows the Earth as a large flaming marble in the background, while in the foreground two men are fighting over a running water hose, with water being sprayed away from the Earth. Cutting with published illustration supplied.
