Scope and content
Illustration originally accompanying an article titled 'Brown may be flawed and weak. But he's no Nixon - or even Blair', by Jonathan Freedland, published in the Guardian, 08 July 2009. The article discusses the author's anecdotal resemblance between Gordon Brown and Richard Nixon, but states that Brown is guilty of little compared to others, including Nixon. The illustration shows a figure, presumed to be Gordon Brown, with a devil mask being held up by another figure out of frame. Cutting with published illustration supplied.
