Notebook, written mostly in shorthand, containing notes on Rhodesia, including: education including UCR (University College Rhodesia), access to higher education and teacher training; the general election and UDI (Universal Declaration of Independence); relations with Zambia; proposals constitutional changes; Chiefs and their representation in the Rhodesian parliament; and African nationalism.

Names featured include: Ian Douglas Smith, [Clifford] Dupont and [Ahrn] Palley.

Transcribed in 2021 as part of the Clyde Sanger shorthand transcription project with funding from The National Archives' Collaborate and Innovate Testbed Fund. The pdf transcription document also contains a digitised copy of the notebook.
