Notebook, written mostly in shorthand, containing notes on Kenya including: independence and the constitutional framework; recession; Lancaster House agreement; land reform including the Lessos scheme; adult education; the Annual Delegates Conference, September; and development plans and funds.

Names featured include: [Reginald] Maudling, [Jomo] Kenyatta, [Bruce] McKenzie, [Patrick] Renison, [Tom] Mboya, [James] Gichuru, [Taita Arap] Towett and [Masinde] Muliro.

Transcribed in 2021 as part of the Clyde Sanger shorthand transcription project with funding from The National Archives' Collaborate and Innovate Testbed Fund. The pdf transcription document also contains a digitised copy of the notebook.
