Notebook, written mostly in shorthand, containing notes on: ZANU [Zimbabwe African National Union] executives; the economy and industry [in Rhodesia]; journalism training for African journalists; the Kamba people of Kenya; talks on the NFD and the Kenya - Somalia border; and discussions regarding amendments to the Constitution of Kenya.
Names featured include: [Ndabaningi] Sithole, Leopold Takawira, Robert Mugabe, Washington Malianga, Enos Nkala, Noel Mukono, Henry Hamadzirysi, Enos Chikowore, N Shamuyarira, Morris Nyagumbo, Eddison Zvobgo, [Joshua] Nkomo, Machiro, [Paul] Ngei, [Ronald] Ngala, [Joseph] Murumbi, [Jomo] Kenyatta and Omolo Agar.
Transcribed by Rosemary Dowsett in 2021 as part of the Clyde Sanger shorthand transcription project with funding from The National Archive’s Collaborate and Innovate Testbed Fund. The pdf transcription document also contains a digitised copy of the notebook.
